Our eSignature process
- When you sign up for UnikSign’s eSignature, you will create an account to manage your signature and identity.
- Your account is verified and secured via the authentication process. You now have a standard digital identity linked to your eSignature account.
- Set up your signature in UnikSign. Use one of the custom fonts available or upload an image of your physical signature.
- Choose a PIN for your signature. This is to remain confidential – do not share it with anyone. You will always enter this PIN to sign a document. The purpose is to ensure that only you can sign your own signature, it cannot be used without your knowledge. It acts as proof of signature intent in a court of law.
- Upload a document to the Clawd desktop platform or the UnikSign app, place the signature and text fields as necessary, and send out for signature.
- See who has signed in real time. When the document is complete, you will receive an email notification that your document is stored in the MyVault, complete with a certificate of completion, XMP-injected metadata that encapsulates the document, which is signed by Clawd Technologies and backed by Entrust.
